Who We Are

Programming Manager- James Baker, with more than a decade of experience in Public Safety as Sheriff Explorer, Telecommunicator, Deputy Sheriff, and Radio System Specialist for a county wide Motorola trunked radio system. APCO Certified Radio Technician, and member or Radio Club of America (R.C.A.). Being a transplant to Utah from Florida and intimately familiar with natural disasters and states of emergency along with a working knowledge of providing seamless interoperability across borders during emergencies. You will be hard pressed to find someone more driven and passionate on the interworking’s of the day to day operation of a wide area trunked radio system.

Programming Author- Daniel Dialogue, a Senior Technician and Journeyman CET with 23 years of experience in the RF Communications industry. He attended ITT which influenced his decision to pursue a career in the Radio industry. A Utah native, he has assisted in creating and building large scale communication and data systems for companies such as Kennecott Utah Copper and the Snowbird Ski Resort. He has also been influential in the installation and implementation of systems outside of Utah at Newmont Mining Company and Barrick Gold in Nevada. He is a strong project leader with the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully complete every project he is assigned and is willing to work day or night to do so. His current position is with the Programming Department at Utah Communications Authority. With technology continually changing and improving, Dan is ready for the challenges and new concepts that the future of the Radio industry will bring.

Programmer- Jared Lamoreaux has 19 years’ experience in electronics with 11+ of those years running an RMA department and repairing customized computer systems for long-haul fleet management solutions. As resident and field Programmer for UCA, Jared is steadfast in meeting with clients/end users, listening to their goals and assisting with solutions to fit their current/future programming needs. He looks for opportunities to improve support for users through daily learning, self-evaluation and process analysis.

Outside of work, he likes to spend time with friends and family hiking in the Wasatch Mountains, going to local and regional airshows, exploring National Park sites, and binge-watching movies with his kids and their favorite snacks on the sofa.
